Ramesh Jay Hayllar, is a professional Surfer based out of Aregum, Sri Lanka. Olanka Travels wanted to utilise an athlete of Jay’s influence in the community to show Aregum Bay and it’s value. All while supporting him in his Olympic endeavours.
Ideation
I wanted to show not only Jay’s ability to surf, but also his life, his story and what his aspirations were.
By utilising a small part of Jay’s life, the morning walk to surf his local break, it gave insight into the beauty the region has to offer but also the community he is a part of.
